Amazing's pedigree contains some of the most well known names in European breeding and he also has the style and temperament sought after in a top show hunter.

 

Amazing is the USEF's #1 ranked US based Hunter sire for 2022!! 

 

Amazing is easy to work with, eager to please, and was a pleasure to ride.  In addition, he is unique in that he has hack winning movement combined with spectacular jumping form and scope. These qualities were apparent in his Pre-Green debut at the Country Heir AA show in 2012.  In his first time showing in the 3', Amazing was Reserve Champion out of 27 of the top Pre Green horses on the East Coast, and won a class with a fantastic score of 88.  Unfortunately his very promising performance career was cut short after an injury sustained in a breeding shed accident where he slipped. 

 

Amazing has consistently passed on his best qualities to his offspring. Mare owners report that their foals are brave, friendly, easy to work with and extremely athletic.  Many foals have demonstrated their natural jumping ability as early as ten days old!  Amazing's offspring have been very successful both on the line and in the performance ring. Everyone remembers Tainted Love (Amazing x Tuxedo Park) the filly who as a yearling earned USEF National Champion title in Hunter Breeding for 2015. Recently, Au Chocolat (Amazing x Sugar Coated) owned/bred by Mary Ellis won the yearling class out of 17 at the 2022 Young Horse Show Series Finals in Tryon — and he had the overall highest in-hand score of all sections! Another well known face is Amuzing, owned and ridden by Jill Hardie who has had tremendous success showing in the 3’3” A/O’s. Additionally, a large number of Amazing's offspring have been bred, brought along, and shown successfully by their amateur owners.  These babies are a trainer's dream: sensible, trainable, kind, and attractive.
