About the sire:
Tapizar is the sire of the seven-time GI stakes winner and 2018 Champion Three-Year-Old Filly Monomoy Girl, a $9.5 million racing prospect at this November’s Fasig-Tipton Sale, Tapizar is the third-leading sire by cumulative earnings from his crop year, and is also third on this year’s year-to-date fifth-crop list. His is also the sire of GIII Delaware Oaks winner Project Whiskey, four other graded stakes winners, 10 black-type winners and 24 black-type horses. In all his progeny have earned over $22M. Himself the winner of the GI Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile and the GII San Fernando Stakes, Tapizar had stood at Gainesway since his retirement in 2013. He was set to be shipped to Japan to stand stud at Yushun Stallion Station for the 2021 season, but was euthanized after an accident in his stall at the Gainesway quarantine barn. The 12-year-old was scheduled to travel in mid-January.

Ladyflickerflacker is a 2007 KY bred from Everest Stables LLC. She was purchased by Michael Hernon while carrying Hollywood Handsome the same year he purchased Drumette (dam of Monomoy Girl). She has produce by Trappe Shot (2), Tapizar (2), Tapwrit, and Cairo Prince. Ladyflickerflacker is in foal to Tapwrit again for 2021.
