  Bred by Hengststation Schult and ridden by Beatrice Buchwald, Disconto served as an all-around sire in Germany and The Netherlands. He was  imported to the US in 2007 and purchased by WHE in 2008.  

 

  Disconto competed in Dressage up to PSG and Jumpers up to 1.30m in Europe.

Since arriving in the US, Disconto has successfuly shown in hunter, dressage, and DSHB classes. He is 16.1 and extremely correct in conformation and movement. His calm temperament and willing attitude is passed on to his foals. A few of his offspring have been imported and are winning in the Dressage and Hunter/Jumper rings.

 

 Disconto's sire, Diamantino, was Korsieger in Munster and in 1988 won his stallion performance test in Warendorf. He was also 1989 Reserve Champion in Frankfurt. Disconto is out of the States Premium mare Fruhlingssonne, who is the granddam of Fidertanz (Also bred by Hengststation Schult).
